This delicious recipe is sure to be a hit at any party. Boil an inch of salted water in a large stock pot. Add 2 live lobsters and cover, steaming until the shells are deep red, about 10 minutes. In a bowl, combine 16 ounces softened cream cheese, 2 minced shallots, 1 minced clove of garlic, 1 tablespoon horseradish, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire, 1/8 teaspoon cayenne, 1 teaspoon hot sauce, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix in the lobster meat. Pour into a baking dish, and chill in the refrigerator for two hours.
Cook, uncovered, at 375 degrees for about 25 minutes, or until lobster dip is hot and bubbly. Hollow out a round shaped sourdough bread and fill it with dip. Serve the delicious dip with fresh bread or crackers.

Cut 2 center slices, about ½-inch thick, from a round sourdough country bread. Cut each slice in two, and lightly toast. Place some of the lobster meat onto each piece, and slowly pour on the butter mixture with a spoon. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, add a drizzle of olive oil, and place a sprig of basil on each toast.
